Goodman to host free hanging basket workshops across UK business parks

20 May 2014

Global property group, Goodman, will be offering free hanging basket workshops across a number of its UK business parks throughout May and June this year. Guided by award-winning landscapers, the sessions are open customers at the Goodman parks.

The workshops will be held at Goodman’s Arlington Business Park, Reading, Arlington Square, Bracknell, Oxford Business Park, Gloucester Business Park and Hatfield Business Park, collectively home to over 243 businesses with 27,000 employees.

The events, first launched in 2012, are now held each year and are part of Goodman’s mission to offer customers across its business parks a fulfilling, interactive work environment. Attendees can learn how to plant their own hanging baskets to take home, or give as gifts to friends and family.

Richard Potter, Property Services Director at Goodman, said: “Our hanging basket workshops have been extremely popular in the past, and we’re looking forward to replicating this success again this year. With the summer fast approaching and with growing interest across the UK for DIY gardening events and classes, we hope our workshops will prove more popular than ever and are excited to be giving our customers an opportunity to get involved.”

“We believe it’s important to invest in our business parks to create communities that enhance satisfaction, well-being and productivity among our customer’s employees. We want our parks not only to be somewhere to come and work each day, but also a place to interact and have fun with others in the work environment.”

The hanging basket workshops are just one of the ways Goodman is helping people who work on its business parks to improve their work and life balance. Other recent initiatives include fitness classes, fresh fruit giveaways and cycling/sustainable travel events.
